Shortcuts and menus
Keyboard shortcuts
Section titled “Keyboard shortcuts”These work with the pointer in the BLUX Physics Graph editor.
| Key | Action |
|---|---|
Space |
Play or pause the live simulation |
Right Arrow |
Step one frame |
Shift+Left Arrow |
Reset to the first frame |
Ctrl+B |
Bake the frame range |
The keys exist only in a node editor that shows a BLUX graph. In every other editor, including the shader, compositor and Geometry Nodes editors, Blender’s own timeline keys apply. Space plays the timeline, the arrows step frames, and Shift+Left Arrow jumps to the start frame.
- While a bake runs,
Spacesays so instead of playing. - While the GPU kernels are compiling in the background, Step, Reset and Bake are unavailable and their keys fall through to Blender’s own.
You can rebind or disable each key in Preferences > Keymap > Node Editor.
